The alpacas are used to the cold of the altiplano, but occasionally these temperatures can reach -20°C, causing the natural death of the alpacas, the farmers have to take advantage of the wool and the skin for their subsistence.
OUR MISSION
In ILChiti our commitment to women who are part of a community, training them to create handmade designs with high quality finishes, thus being able to offer them a job opportunity with fair wages that allow economic growth.
We have the responsibility to support the growth of this community by contributing to the manufacture of products made in a sustainable manner. This includes respecting the social rights of the people who made them without harming the environment and with fair economic conditions.
