Alpacas live freely in their natural habitat, being sheared by the farmers who care for them.
Alpacas are accustomed to the cold of the highlands, but occasionally these temperatures can reach -20°C, causing the natural death of the alpacas. Farmers have to use the wool and skin as much as possible for their subsistence.
